New Press & Radio Campaign for Londis
Bringing Community back to the fore
Ireland has traditionally been recognised world wide as a warm, friendly and community focused country, nevertheless over the past number of years, as people have become increasingly ‘time poor’ it has been this sense of community participation and ‘connectedness’ which has perhaps suffered most.
In these difficult times Londis believes that once again, shared community values will come to the fore, with people looking to engage at a local level and with a sense of togetherness to face our challenges as part of a wider, friendlier and united local community. Engaging with friends, neighbours, local clubs, local sports and local businesses brings us closer together and strengthens individual communities.
We are therefore delighted to launch our press and radio campaign in April which was featured with both national and regional media across the country!
Londis retailers are at the heart of communities throughout Ireland and this new campaign demonstrates the value that a Londis store brings to its community as “the place where path’s cross and real conversations are held”. Londis stores provide not just the day to day groceries our consumers require, but also facilitate warm interaction between our various customers. As such, Londis retailers are integral to the close knit community spirit which we wish to recapture.
This campaign represents a media investment of over €400,000.
