ADM Londis Appoints Commercial Director

ADM Londis plc, one of Ireland's premier symbol groups has appointed Peter Foley as Commercial Director for the Group.
In this newly created senior role, Foley takes responsibility for the management of all commercial operations within the Group as a whole and will provide leadership and expertise to the Sales, Purchasing and Marketing functions.
Prior to joining ADM Londis, Peter has gained extensive industry experience including stints with the Musgrave Group and Mangans with particular focus on Wholesale business development. Today's appointment demonstrates the calibre of the senior management team now assembled at ADM Londis and the commitment both to growth and to enhance its retailer and consumer offering.
The Group which earlier this year reported an increase in profit before tax to €6.1m on a wholesale turnover of €371m also recently announced that former Joint Chief Executive Paddy McGarry has accepted a position as a non-executive director on the Board.
Paddy McGarry will now engage in a four year consultancy contract with the Group where he will focus on interacting with existing and prospective Londis retailers. Stephen O'Riordan will continue in his role as Chief Executive of ADM Londis plc.
The changes to the senior management structure of the Group are part of a concerted effort by ADM Londis plc to accelerate the strategic growth of the Group following the impressive results of the past number of years and also ensure that Londis retailers are best placed to meet the needs of Irish consumers.
Commenting on the appointment for Peter Foley to the newly created role of Commercial Director, Stephen O'Riordan, CEO, ADM Londis plc said, "Peter's appointment is a significant step forward for ADM Londis.
